Silver Heritage Group has announced the appointment of James Spenceley as the company’s new non-executive Chairman and director following the departure of former Chairman David Green earlier this month.

Silver Heritage Group Ltd said that Richard Barker, one of the firm’s independent non-executive directors, will not stand for re-election at the company’s upcoming annual general meeting and has resigned with immediate effect.

A s.185 (Enterprise agreement) application by SkyCity Adelaide Casino Pty Ltd T/A Adelaide Casino for its SkyCity Adelaide Casino/United Voice Enterprise Agreement 2017 has been approved by Commissioner Lee sitting in Melbourne on 12 April 2018.

The former NSW Nationals gaming and racing minister George Souris has been appointed to the board of Destination NSW by the Berejiklian government, and Cricket NSW chairman John Warn has been chosen to chair the tourism organisation. The appointments by state cabinet will mean Mr Souris, a friend of Ms Berejiklian’s political mentor Barry O’Farrell, now has two government sanctioned board appointments, having been appointed to Racing NSW. Mr Souris earns $63,000 a year from Racing NSW, on top of his parliamentary yearly pension of $150,000. He will earn $30,000 a year from the Destination NSW position. Mr Warn replaces former News Corp Australia chief executive John Hartigan, who retired.
